Avalor Goldens-Pet Puppy/Dog Contract The following Pet Puppy Contract is entered into between:

Seller agrees to sell to the buyer a female puppy, whelped on Sire:

Both parties have agreed to the following terms of sale:
The Seller Agrees:
This puppy is in good health at the time of sale. The buyer will have 14 days in which to have the puppy examined by his or her own veterinarian. During that time, the puppy may be returned for any reason to Avalor for a full refund, provided the puppy is returned in the same condition as on the date of the sale. If the puppy is returned due to illness, a letter from the veterinarian is required. This includes death or illness from any health condition deemed to be present prior to removal of the puppy from seller’s premises. Buyer shall assume any expenses associated with returning this puppy to the seller. This puppy/dog may be returned for any other reason at any time during the life of the puppy/dog with the permission of the seller, no money will be refunded to the buyer. In case of return of the puppy/dog, buyer is responsible for all transportation costs.
Every reasonable precaution has been taken to prevent this puppy form acquiring hereditary hip/elbow dysplasia, cataracts, or Subaortic Stenosis. Due to the unknown hereditary and environment causes of such defects, no guarantee will be given against them.
The Buyer Agrees: That this puppy will be given adequate and proper shelter and housed securely. This dog shall not be neglected, allowed to roam free, or mistreated in any manner. This puppy/dog shall not be restrained routinely by chaining to a stationary object.
That the puppy shall receive proper veterinary care throughout its lifetime, receiving appropriate vaccinations and placed on a heartworm preventative. The puppy shall receive proper nutrition and care shall be taken to maintain its proper weight. The puppy should be switched to adult formula dog food or large breed puppy by the time it is 16 weeks old. This prevents the puppy from growing too fast and too large thus preventing joint problems.
The buyer will notify the seller first if for any reason the buyer no longer wants or is able to keep the puppy/dog. The seller shall have first right of refusal if the puppy/dog is to be sold of disposed of in any way. If the seller does not wish to acquire the puppy/dog, the seller will try to assist the buyer in placing the puppy if the buyer so chooses.
The buyer will notify the seller of any change of address and will maintain contact with the seller throughout the lifetime of this dog.
The buyer will take puppy to puppy training classes and continuing obedience training is strongly recommended. The buyer will notify the seller of any AKC, CKC, or GRCA titles earned by this dog.
Buyer agrees not to breed this dog or bitch. This puppy will be registered on a limited registration and spaying/neutering is required before the age of 1 year. If puppy/dog is used for breeding a $3000.00 penalty will be paid to the seller for punitive damages.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs; from or to the seller if puppy is returned for any reason.
Avalor Goldens and Lori Reuter give no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied, except those stated herein.
Entire Agreement:
